It looks like the Palm beach boat ramps are to be upgrade, many use the ramps on the weekends for fishing, boating and other forms of enjoyment.

The ramp is approximately 30 years old near the end of its life with loss of armour and formation.

Several slabs have slipped and the overall grade is too shallow.

No finger jetty has been installed and the users find it awkward to negotiate their boats to shore after launching due to the uneven ground from disturbed armour.

The City of Rockingham has introduced a Community Security Service that will deliver an operational role in the area of community safety and crime prevention through the hired services of Wilson Security, an experienced and accredited security provider.

Clearly marked patrol vehicles are equipped with two-way radio communication and are fitted with global positioning equipment to track their movement.

We have seen these cars all over Rockingham, from Primarys Schools to beach car parks, it’s good to see these guys doing there job, it make’s it a safer place to be, thanks Rockingham City Council
